Perfect Pocketbook
This game was created in 7 non-consecutive days for the June 2025 Week Sauce game jam. The theme "pocket-sized" inspired a game where you catch falling items in your pocketbook while avoiding bad items. Catching the same item in a row builds combos!
This is certainly the most finished project I have created for this game jam so far and I'm very proud of how it turned out. However, I am still open to feedback just so I may improve as a developer.
Known issue: the sound effects when catching items do not work. I tried changing the compression of the audio clips from "Decompress on Load" to "Compressed in Memory" and it still isn't working and I'm now on my third attempt trying to successfully compile so oh well, no sound I guess. If anyone has any alternative solutions please let me know.
Graphics and images made with or taken from Canva's library of photos and elements, but none of Canva's AI-generation features were used for this project.
